BP 20 Inhibitor
Complete corrosion protection of workpieces in wire EDM in climatic conditions with strong corrosion tendency.
Used as additive in the process water or as concentrate, BP 20 ensures non-corrosive cutting with wire-cut machines.
As the electrical conductivity of the commonly used surface and tap water is reduced by ion exchangers, a corrosion inhibitor is necessary that does not neutralise the circulating water’s electrical properties thanks to its conductance value of <1 µS/cm.
Depending on the steel quality and the use concentration BP 20 offers protection against rust and corrosion of up to hundred per cent.
This also applies to the cutting area, even with most adverse ambient influences.
Use a hand-held refractometer to monitor the concentration.
BP 20 Inhibitor is biodegradable.
