Solvents must meet the highest quality requirements when it comes to optimum cleaning performance on metallic surfaces in various work areas. Buchem offers three different products precisely for this reason, all of which offer different advantages, depending on what they are used for.
Solvo N is a cleaner based on three different solvents for diverse production use. Its fast evaporation rate prevents streaks and allows residue-free degreasing, particularly on vertical metal surfaces. Permanent markers and hardened mineral grease are also effortlessly removed.
Solvo N is easy to use as a pre-degreaser for painting work, since the ingredients leave no film. Excellent cleaning performance and fast evaporation allow speedy further processing when it comes to
immersion degreasing.
Thanks to its longer useful life, Solvo L is ideal for maintenance and assembly work, where larger quantities of dirt need to be removed. Its slow evaporation rate means intensive dissolving of stubborn grease, oil and other coatings which can then be rubbed off using a cloth. This product is also free from n-Hexane and reduces vapour release.
Solvo X is a mixture of isopropanol and acetone. Despite its low hazard classification, this cleaner is excellent at removing oil, grease and mild plastic and rubber residue. Marks from touch-up pens and permanent markers can be easily removed.
Solvo X also removes mild outgassing vapours in cavities.
Its slower evaporation rate at room temperature means marks can be cleaned off afterwards using a cloth.
